Summer Sees A Spike In Chemical Injuries In Kids (1 of 3)

A new study from Nationwide Children's Hospital shows that more than 100,000 injuries were reported in children due to hydrocarbons between 2000-2009. Hydrocarbons, a chemical compound commonly found in household items from cleaning products to gasoline, are among the top 10 causes of pediatric poisoning deaths in the United States.
