CT imaging of shear-thinning biomaterial (STB) in vascular model. This movie is an in vitro demonstration of the STB's occlusive potential. Ultravist (Bayer) served as the contrast agent to visualize the STB (6NC75) under fluoroscopy (Siemens; Artis Zeego). Contrast dye-mixed STB was manually injected into a clinical vasculature embolization model and imaged. STB occluded the entire model vessel, delivered simply from a pre-loaded STB-filled syringe with no other necessary embolic preparation.
