Doctoral student Bo Peng (at left), associate professor Wenbin Yu (center) and doctoral student Ernesto Camarena conduct research on SwiftComp, software developed by Yu that reduces the design cycle of materials and structures. The software also analyzes models too complex for existing methods. North Logan, Utah-based AnalySwift, a commercial software provider, has licensed SwiftComp through the Purdue Research Foundation Office of Technology Commercialization.
