Dr. Suber Huang of University Hospitals in Cleveland will lead the program for the Argus® II Retinal Prosthesis System at UH's Eye Institute. Argus II is the first and only "bionic eye" approved in the US. It is used to treat patients with late stage retinitis pigmentosa. Argus II was developed by Second Sight Medical Products Inc.
