Adult male entire domestic shorthair cat rescued from a shelter in Sydney, Australia, and found to be coinfected with FcaGHV1 and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV). After neutering and rehoming he remained disease-free for 3.5 years. The role of FcaGHV1 as a potential copathogen in FIV infection requires further investigation.
