Finding the Genetic Ripple Effect

These images from a study published by Nature show gene heat maps and graphs that help illustrate the links researchers identified between gene expression and biological processes in the immune disease severe congenital neutropenia (SCN). The single-cell analyses in the study create a new platform for researchers and clinicians to study the single-cell genomics of different diseases, with the potential to make genetic-based clinical diagnoses more precise and effective.
