NASA-NOAA's Suomi NPP satellite passed over Typhoon Bualoi and the VIIRS instrument aboard captured this image of the storm on Oct. 25. Suomi NPP showed that Bualoi continued to appear asymmetric as it was transitioning into an extra-tropical cyclone.
