Bonnie's Bus is a mobile mammography unit that the WVU Cancer Institute uses to conduct breast cancer screenings across West Virginia, even in rural counties that aren't near a conventional medical imaging facility. WVU researchers Stephenie Kennedy-Rea and Richard Goldberg are investigating whether a new colorectal-cancer-screening method, which involves a simple blood test, can broaden the cancer-screening options that units like Bonnie's Bus offer.
