The prevention of anaphylactic shock so far relies on manual injection of epinephrine by the patient or a person close by. The partnership between the Wyss Institute and the KeepSmilin4Abbie Foundation aims at creating a wearable device that can stop anaphylaxis and save the lives of at-risk children and adults.
