Anthony Napoli, M.D., and his colleagues from Rhode Island Hospital have found that when patients with undifferentiated chest pain were jointly managed and when stress testing was largely at the discretion of a cardiologist, stress testing use was lower and there was a low rate of 30-day major cardiac events.
