This is panel C from the previous figure, showing recurring slope lineae on Horowitz Crater. Colors have been strongly enhanced to show the subtle differences, including light orange streaks (black arrows) in the upper right that may mark faded lineae. This image relates to an article that appeared in the Aug. 5, 2011, issue of Science, published by AAAS. The study, by Dr. Alfred S. McEwen of the University of Arizona in Tuscon, Ariz., and colleagues was titled, "Seasonal Flows on Warm Martian Slopes."
