UMass Amherst observational astronomer Daniel Wang has won a Fulbright award to support his collaboration with theoretical astrophysicist professor Jorge Cuadra at Chile's Pontificia Universidad Catolica on studies of the closest known massive black hole, known as Sgr A*, in the center of the Milky Way Galaxy.
