A cow at Wolfe's Neck Center for Agriculture & the Environment in Freeport, Maine, eats out of a special feeder designed to measure methane, a potent greenhouse gas. A new $5 million grant will support Bigelow Laboratory scientists’ research to reduce these emissions from cattle using an algae-based feed supplement.
