Disinfection System at University of Tennessee Plateau AgResearch and Education Center (IMAGE)

Chlorine, peroxyacetic acid, and ultraviolet light are common means of providing water disinfection. These methods are being evaluated on strawberry plots at the University of Tennessee Plateau AgResearch and Education Center. This new USDA grant will allow Extension educators to provide information about how to utilize various water treatment methods to help ensure the safety of fresh fruits and vegetables.
