Rates of Acute Kidney Injury among Irish patients have more than doubled in the past 10 years, according to a new study led by researchers in Ireland. Professor Austin Stack, Foundation Chair of Medicine at University of Limerick's Graduate Entry Medical School, discusses the research which was published in Nephrology Dialysis and Transplantation and shows a 126% increase in Acute Kidney Injury between 2005 and 2014.
