University of Nevada, Reno researchers, in association with Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, deployed fiber-optic cable in Squaw Creek at the east end of Squaw Valley, downstream from the famous ski resort, to gather data to look at ground water/surface water exchanges, fish habitat and restoration.
