John 'Chip' Tilton, MD (IMAGE) Case Western Reserve University Caption John "Chip" Tilton, MD, of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine will receive $300,000 from the Dr. Ralph and Marian Falk Medical Research Trust to develop a virus-based "nanoPOD" (nanoscale PrOtein Delivery) platform to help treat rare genetic diseases. The project will address a major challenge in developing nanoscale therapeutics: finding ways to deliver them to the right location inside the body.
