Metamaterials That Manipulate Electromagnetic Wave Propagation

Electromagnetic waves (red inputs) interact with metamaterials that are designed to manipulate how the waves transform and propagate (blue, green and orange outputs). An international team of researchers led by the ASRC's Photonics Initiative Director Andrea Alù will establish a design framework to enhance light/matter interactions developing a broad range of new technologies.
