CNT (VIDEO)
Caption
Duke scientists built this 'ribbon diagram' model of how anticancer and antiviral drugs can be transported into cells by a structure called a concentrative nucleoside transporter (CNT -- yellow helices). Movement of the transport domain of the CNT conveys drugs across the cell membrane with an elevator-type motion.
