Of 166 posters from around the world presented, Univeristy of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science Ph.D. student, Rafael Schiller and Co-Author/Advisor Dr. Villy Kourafalou earned "Best Poster" honors. The event celebrated 10 years of GODAE achievement in the field of Global Ocean Forecasting, and marked the end of an international project that has made landmark strides in the scientific advancement of forecasting how the world's oceans affect climate, weather and biogeochemical processes.
