Immune system antibodies can block RSV infection and provide protection from RSV disease. This image shows how a protective human antibody (dark and light grey surface) sticks to a folded part of the RSV G protein antigen (rainbow colored blue-to-red). The new findings provide a foundation for the development of a RSV vaccine.
