The catalyst (below) helps the water molecules to decompose the hydrogen molecules, and a beam of electrons, extracted from the synchrotron radiation storage ring (the right), is applied to the surface of the reaction. It reflects the hydrolyzed hydrogen process in the active sites of the catalyst occurring in the water drops above the picture.
