UC Davis Establishes Research, Training in Cultivated Meat (IMAGE)

Professor David Block, an expert in fermentation technology with appointments in the UC Davis Department of Chemical Engineering and Department of Viticulture and Enology, will lead a new NSF-funded project for research on cultivated meat. UC Davis recently established a Cultivated Meat Consortium as a hub to promote research, teaching and outreach in the area.
