Among the COVID-19 test platforms to receive scale up and manufacturing support through RADx, at left, MatMaCorp's test uses a portable detection system designed to improve on-site testing capabilities of CLIA labs in rural communities. At right, Ceres Nanosciences uses magnetic virus particles, eliminating the need for RNA extraction kits, reducing sample processing time, and improving the sensitivity of downstream assays in point-of-care systems and in high-throughput laboratory developed tests.
