The high-seas ferry MS <i>Norr&ouml;na</i>, cited in the <i>Nature Communications</i> paper, measures upper ocean currents with an ADCP (acoustic Doppler current profiler) installed in its hull as it makes a weekly roundtrip between Denmark, the Faroe Islands and Iceland.
