Prenatal BPA Exposure May Contribute to the Male Bias of Autism Spectrum Disorder (IMAGE)
Caption
Prenatal exposure to BPA disrupts ASD-candidate genes involved in neuronal viability, neuritogenesis, and learning/memory. Changes in the expression of these genes are correlated in a sex-dependent manner with disruptions in neuronal characteristics and behaviors that occur in response to BPA.
