Callus culture from Asperula tinctoria, also known as dyer's woodruff, one of over 2,000 plant tissues in the UMass Amherst plant cell culture library. Used as a pigment for dying textiles, the material is being investigated as a possible source of compounds that kill Mycobacteria and Staphylococcus aureus.
