Breathing Phantom (VIDEO)
Caption
BeamSite cameras invented by DoseOptics, LLC, and pioneered at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Norris Cotton Cancer Center, capture Cherenkov light emissions that provide radiation therapy teams the ability to see real-time video of the beam directly on the patient, and make adjustments for dose accuracy as the targeted area moves. This video of the breathing phantom shows how the radiation exposure site varies as the "patient" inhales.
