Structural Illumination super-resolution microscopy (SIM) images of mitotic chromosomes from human cells, showing rDNA-linked chromosomes. rDNA was labeled with rDNA probe and UBF antibody (green and red). Both rDNA and UBF form filamentous connections between chromosomes.
