Antenna Concept

This is the concept for integrating the HF Sounder (lower-frequency radar used to measure ice thickness and image the bed) onto the vehicle. The necessary size of the antenna is the primary technical challenge for integrating the radar onto the vehicle. Arnold's team will be developing this structurally integrated antenna concept over the next year by replacing the landing gear of the vehicle with the antenna structure.
