An Animation of the Steps Required for 3D Modeling of Grass Spikelets using Cinema 4D Software (VIDEO)
Caption
This method for creating high-quality, three-dimensional (3D) digital representations of plant structures uses images of thin sections of plant material taken with a light microscope and reconstructed into a 3D model using computer-assisted design (CAD) software. The technique is demonstrated by creating models of grass spikelets.
