An artist's interpretation of the creation of two cell atlases that track gene expression and chromatin accessibility during the development of human cell types and tissues. The atlases are reported in the Nov. 12 edition of Science. They were developed by the Brotman Baty Institute for Precision Medicine and UW Medicine in Seattle.
