Color-coded pie charts from Vulcan data overlaid on this Google Earth map of northeastern states specify carbon dioxide emissions in 2002 as a portion of total emissions from each state. Aqua blue represents onroad emissions from cars, trucks, buses; aircraft emissions in blue; industrial emissions in black; commercial emissions in yellow; electricity production emissions in red; residential emissions from water heating, home heating, and cooking in orange; and nonroad emissions from trains, boats, and lawn mowers shown in green.
