A project providing daycare for children of migrant construction workers in India will receive a $1.3 million investment to scale up operation of its mobile daycare centers known as crèches. It is part of a CDN $2.5 million joint investment by the governments of Canada and India in five innovations aimed primarily at improving maternal, newborn and child health in India, announced during the official visit to Canada of India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
