Kelsey Louppe and other players on the Virginia Tech women's soccer team are wearing small sensors behind their ears that can measure linear and rotational motion of the head during every head impact they experience. This is part of a new, $30 million national study involving the National Collegiate Athletic Association and the US Department of Defense.
