William Dupont, FAIA, and San Antonio Conservation Society Professor of Architecture, will be studying the cost-effectiveness and energy efficiency of radiant barrier retrofits in several early 20th century, historic homes across San Antonio, Texas. This is one of the first funded, academic evaluations of radiant barriers' energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness focusing solely on hot, humid climate zones.
