University of Delaware startup Resonate Forward has developed a device called VibeForward, which is strapped to the lower leg and is designed to reduce symptoms of freezing of gait for people living with Parkinson's disease. When activated from a smartphone app, the device vibrates and sensors collect data about the person's position and gait.
