Dr. Hongwei Yu, professor in the Department of Biochemistry and Microbiology at Marshall University’s Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, (left) has been awarded a two-year, $194,400 grant from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The grant will help further Yu's work to explore the factors that control the overproduction of mucus in the lungs of cystic fibrosis patients.
