Electron Microscopy images obtained from human oral cancer-xenograft-derived tumors obtained from mice treated with Control (scrambled-SCR)-peptide, E2F5-mimetic peptide (E2F5) in the absence or presence of cisplatin (lower panels). Arrows indicate mitophagosomes, which are enhanced by E2F5-mimetic peptide plus cisplatin treatment (representing mitophagy) , consistent with enhanced tumor suppression, compared to other treatment groups
