Stream Restoration

The formation of the subsidence basin within parts of East Finley Township Park resulted in significant ponding (before picture). To restore Templeton Fork required the stream gradient to be re-established to pre-mining conditions. The re-grading of stream is accomplished with a method known as 'gate cutting."
