Schematic depiction of the mode of action for targeted alpha radiation in skin cell-derived cancers. Cancer cells (brown) are associated with several other cell types in the tumor microenvironment, such as fibroblasts (blue). 225Ac-FAPI-04 (red) is localized to the cancer through its binding to fibroblasts, resulting in targeted irradiation of the tumor.
