Houston Methodist Tests Antibody-Rich Blood Plasma of COVID-19 Patients

Houston Methodist became the first academic medical center in the nation to infuse critically ill COVID-19 patients with convalescent plasma donated from recovered patients, which contains antibodies made by the immune system that were used to kill the virus and may transfer the power of the antibodies into a healing, possibly life-saving therapy.
