This is a compilation of satellite images processed by the Univ. of Miami's Center for Southeastern Tropical Advanced Remote Sensing (CSTARS) using Synthetic Aperture Radar in 2010. A recently announced grant from the US Office of Naval Research will allow CSTARS to broaden the use of satellite imaging to measure the oceanic activity in the western Pacific Ocean - from typhoons to monsoons, to internal wave action.
