Containers and Tailored Permissions (VIDEO)

The containerization technology being developed by Craig Shue, associate professor of computer science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) with support from the National Science Foundation, enables websites to grant permissions tailored to the needs of each individual user. In a recent talk to WPI students and faculty members, Shue explained this concept and provided an example of how the permissions process might work in practice.
