World-Renowned Earthquake Engineering Lab to Double in Size

The University of Nevada, Reno recently tested a 110-foot 200 ton concrete bridge in its large-structures earthquake engineering lab, which just received $12.2 million from the US Department of Commerce in a competitive grant process to more than double the size of the facility.
