The University of South Florida (USF) conducted the first comprehensive baseline study of oil pollution in the Gulf of Mexico. USF marine scientists surveyed 10,000 fish and found oil exposure in all of them - the highest levels were detected in yellowfin tuna, golden tilefish and red drum.
