Discovery Fills Gap in Search for Better Treatments for Ebola, Other Viruses

Matthias Götte (left) and research associate Egor Tchesnokov were part of a team that found an enzyme responsible for the propagation of the Ebola virus. The discovery will give researchers around the world the ability to study potential new treatments against Ebola without having to work in an extreme biosafety lab.
