Caption
The discovery in UC Berkeley's Museum of Vertebrate Zoology of an unpublished survey of campus birds led student Allison Shultz to resurvey the campus. She found a surprising diversity, despite nearly a century of building and a 15-fold increase in the number of students. These pages from the log by Margaret Wythe, one of the campus's first female scientists, contains names of birds that have been renamed since the early 20th century.
