How Histamine Can Improve Long-Term Memory (IMAGE)

Researchers at the University of Tokyo led by Professor Yuji Ikegaya studied the effect of histamine on long-term memory. After taking a drug to boost levels of histamine in the brain, adults in their mid-20s had improved long-term memory test scores and mice temporarily had memories that lasted 25 days longer than normal.
