Pavan Hosur, assistant professor of physics at the University of Houston College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics, received a $575,000 Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Award from the National Science Foundation to devise innovative methods for understanding how electrons "dance," or organize themselves in two-and three-dimensional topological semimetals.
